Motronic 88pin Plug and Play VEMS

GSTuning is in the final stages of finalizing the designs and parameters of a new ecu that will work PnP for the BMW 88pin motronic users.
This includes these engines
M50 - non vanos
M50tu - single vanos
M52/S52 - single vanos Bosch
S50 US 3.0
S50 3.0 Euro - with vanos delete
S50 3.2 Euro - with vanos delete
The ecu features a new enclosure which houses the 88pin connector on front, a 16pin auxiliary connector on the back that allows the connection of a wideband sensor and inputs/outputs along with a serial connector, lcd connector, EGT connector and manifold pressure port.
This is the first and only fully new PnP ECU for these BMW engines and it features some very exciting features and hardware designs.
The hardware has been designed to allow running without camsync in case the cam sensor fails. The hardware has also been designed to not allow any possible problems with the PnP aspect as there are no wires inside the case that can lead to problems in the future.

The ecu´s will be available from 1.1.2011
Until then VEMS ecu´s can still be bought for the 88pin motronic with an adapter loom
Price of the PnP will be $1145 with a wideband controller + shipping
Price of a VEMS ecu with an adapter harness for use with any of the 88pin engines is now $950 + shipping
This includes the M60 and M42 engines.

Plug and Play Nissan ECU´s

GSTuning is now in the midst of developing a ECU that will install into a Nissan just like the OEM ecu.
This means there is no messing with any wires to run your vehicle.
It comes with the required new CAS disk.
It will run a Internal MAP sensor,Alpha-N or both so you can remove your MAF altogether.

Launch control
Nitrous control
Internal Boost control
Exhaust gas temp measuring
Internal wideband sensor control
In-cabin boost control via a rotary knob
Dual config switch for various types of fuels or agressiveness
Internal datalogging that is automatically started when engine starts. (333hour/1GB)
Added functionality is the ability to run a Alpha-N style setup for use with throttle bodies while running a boosted engine, such as
the RB26 and SRDET found in the GTi-R´s. This means perfect drivability while not in boost and lightning throttle response.
You´ll be able to fit this into these cars.

SMT6 installation into a 318is ´89
|
Today GSTuning finished installation of a SMT6 piggyback unit into a
BMW E30 318is ´89.
Installing was fairly easy this time around without out any complications.
Here are a few pictures of the installation and the car it self.
Here you can see where the SMT6 has been placed above the ECU.
Here you can see how few wires it really takes to install a SMT6 into a car, in this car there where only 8 wires.
Here you can see where the new wires where placed into the wiring harness.
