PNPECU IGBT 8 channel box v1

PNPECU IGBT 8 Channel Box v1
PNPECU develops PNP solutions for BMW mainly and BMW ignition coils are always of the inductive / dumb type of coil. Many modern aftermarket ecus do not have built in ignition drivers / igniters / low side ignition outputs and so PNPECU designed a compact 8 channel box that would fit will in with its adapters.
The ignition box is in all v4 PNPECU adapters to provide customers the ability to run their stock BMW coils. The aim being that the PNP solution truly is PNP and doesn´t require other modifications elsewhere in the engine loom to work.
Some customers will want to move to smart coils and so PNPECU designed the box to allow for the user to individually change any ignition output to a smart coil output. This is accomplished with jumpers that route the ignition signal either to an IGBT/Igniter or bypass it entirely.
NOTE: The jumpers being set to TTL with an inductive coil can cause damage to the ECU and so caution should be taken during this process.
The jumpers should be glued in place to avoid vibration making them loose.
To convert to smart coils the jumper corresponding to the appropriate cylinder / coil output should be set so that the jumper is between the middle row and the TTL row.
