All V5 adapters contain switches that allow easy changing between logic coils / smart coils or dumb coils

Switch state
• Down = dumb coils
• Up = Smart / Logic coils / 0-5v coils

If not detailed otherwise here, this is the setup for all adapters.

Coil settings

Switch number	Cylinder controlled	Information
1	Cylinder 7 and 8	In a non 8cyl application do not change this switch
2	Cylinder 5 and 6	In a non 8 or 6 cylinder application do not change this switch
3	Cylinders 3 and 4
4	Cylinders 1 and 2

Adjusting the adapter

This will require you to open the adapter housing and flip the switches on the circuit board that sticks up on the main board.
